All students must take one of the courses from the list below.
Please make your selection
Level I Students (incoming 5th graders and most first-time WCSMS participants) must select:
1st Year Students Conversational  Solfege for first year students to WCSMS
Level II Students (second year WCSMS participants) must select:
2nd Year Students Conversational Solfege for students attending WCSMS for the 2nd year
Level III & IV Students (third and fourth year WCSMS participants) select one of these:
Vocal Coaching Students will be instructed in vocal production, vocal health, artistry, and performance techniques.
Orchestra (violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion)

Struthers Library Theatre
Allegheny Regional Theatre Experience

Required Classes for ARTE participants and not available to non-ARTE participants:

  • Healthy Musical Theatre Singing
  • Musical Theatre Dance
  • Choose One Additional Class
All students must select four courses including at least one instrument or voice class

note: if you choose Strings - Level I, II, III, IV, Woodwinds - Level I, II, III, IV, Brass - Level I, II, Percussion - Level I, II, or Jazz Workshop, you must enter which instrument you play.

Dance Classes - students do not need special foot attire (dance slippers or sneakers, no bare feet).

A.R.T.E. students can select two additional classes of their choosing.

Woodwinds: flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone
Brass: trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba

Publicity Permission

I grant permission to Warren County Summer Music School to use my child's name and/or photographic image in production of any school publication and/or video, DVD, and/or other visual imaging for purposes of marketing the school.

I understand that if, for whatever reason, at any point in time, I decide to revoke this agreement, and so notify the school in writing, all references to my child or his/her photographic image will no longer be used. I further understand my child's name and photographic image may continue to be used in any publication already printed or published prior to my revocation of the consent provided herein.

Applications and payment due no later than April 22nd
Registration fees are: $96 per student ($124 for A.R.T.E.). Applications postmarked after May 20 require additional $10.
