Promising Young Composers Competition
Warren County Summer Music School is pleased to announce the winners of our 2026 Promising Young Composers Competition:
$1,000 Overall competition winner: “The Painter on Silk” for SSAA chorus and piano by 吳承昊 (Sam Wu), Houston TX
$250 15-18 age group winner: “BEAST” for wind ensemble by Curtis Klinger, Rochester Hills MI
$250 19-23 age group winner: “Binomial” for string quartet by Zihan Geng, Boston MA
$250 24-30 age group winner: “OdePhénicienne” for soprano and violin by Sami Seif, New York NY
